How Do We Kick Minnesota Out Of The Union?

I'm not saying that we have to do anything yet, but if they actually elect Al Franken to the U.S. Senate, something has to be done to keep these half wits from further damaging our country.

A few years ago they elected a boa wearing professional wrestler to run their state (a buffoon who actually believes that the U.S. was behind 9/11). Fine. I accept that everybody gets liquored up every once in a while before casting an important vote. So they picked a psycho Governor. But then they went and elected Senator Amy Klobuchar, who has the intellectual horse power of an idiot savant sans the savant.

Now they may just give us Senator Al Franken? Are you friggin' kidding me?

Something has to be done to stop these people. State impeachment, a lutefisk ban, Paul Bunyan is sent to fill those lakes back in . . . something has to be done. I can hardly believe that Franken could be competitive in a race, any race, much less win a U.S. Senate seat. If he does, there has to be something we saner states can do to protect ourselves from the land of a thousand flakes.

I was wondering where this post went lol. I read it yesterday and when I came back to comment it was gone! Anyways, this is the stuff I like to see in a post. While only one of these two is a clown (literally, ha!), both are complete idiots and conducted themselves as such during this campaign and are an embarrassment to that state and to the process.

I've thought the same about California. Build a fence and give the state back to Mexico...

What this really points to is the inability of conservatives to get our message out.

    Hey Khaki,

My wife is from Minnesota and thinks you're a butthead. I know this, because she said, "Tell him he's a butthead."

So there, you head of butt!

Ya, not just in Minnesota, but everywhere. I follow politics rather closely and still have no idea what that message might be lol.

You would ban lutefisk? Really?! It must be serious.

DB, there were a few tech difficulties yesterday (which is to say, drinking while blogging). Glad you made it back to comment. Minnesota has not been steller lately . . . but as you point out later, neither has the GOP. Well, except Sarah, of course :-)

Foutsc, you are right about the message. For some reason the Republican party still refuses to take on the mainstream media in an ideological war I believe we would win. Crazy.

As for fencing off California -- Reagan was their governor and Jessica Alba was born there so it does contain some holy ground.

KPal, you are not fooling me. Your lovely wife thinks I am sweet and kind. And she is too classy to call me such an unsavory name. Besides, I expect it was her departure that caused Minnesota to go to hell. Can I get an Uff Da!

Anon, I have no problem sending Minnesotans to bed without their Lutefisk if they continue to vote like they forgot to rinse out the lye. Then they would be left to think about what they'd done with nothing to eat but granola and bark.

Sure, Franken is an idiot celebrity who probably shouldn't be in politics. But he'll join the likes of Fred Thompson, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Ronald Reagan...

Also, don't forget that the Illinois Republican party ran Alan Keyes, of all people, against Obama for Senate in '04.
