More From Obama's "America Sucks" Tour

Traipsing around Europe pointing out that America sucks and apologizing to everyone with blonde hair on behalf of his "fellow Americans" hasn't prevented the gaffe-master Obama from demonstrating some comic buffoonery along the way. Yes, I know the American media likes to pretend that we have a genius in the White House these days, but the Einstein from Illinois never seems to miss an opportunity to prove them wrong. And while American comedians and commentators (if there is a difference between the two) ignore the many mistakes of Mr. Manners, the rest of the world has not so kind, as was demonstrated by the UK Telegraph posting the Top 10 gaffes by Barack Obama and Joe Biden . . . Yes, they're making lists and we're not even to day 100 yet!

Now, I know he has already impressed the Europeans with his claim that America invented the automobile and that fancy RESET button his administration created for Russia which had the wrong word printed on it. But the hits keep coming. Now he has given us another Dohbama moment to make every American proud when he said:

"It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There’s a lot of — I don’t know what the term is in Austrian — wheeling and dealing . . ."

The fact is that nobody knows what the term is in Austrian because . . . well . . . um . . . there is no such language as Austrian (the people of Austria speak primarily German, Italian primarily and French). Nice one, Mr. President. May we have another?

Bush wasn't the topic, was it? He isn't the president anymore, is he?

You guys need to let that one drop.

That's nice to hear when Clinton is still routinely brought up

Great argument, if I had brought up Clinton. But again, you are off topic.

You know we can do this all the way back to Washington, it still doesn't change the fact that Øbama cannot talk coherently without reading a teleprompter.

That's the argument I was making, and all the red herrings in the world will not divert the attention from that fact.

Why not focus on the fences he is trying to mend rather than how well he speaks without a teleprompter?

This just seems like petty B.S. to me.

If he mends one, please let me know. All I have seen is an "America sucks" tour.

    Yeah ... mending fenses:

Obama, perhaps feeling guilty for the US role in triggering the international crisis, has, indeed, given away the store. Now we may no longer look to presidential appointees, confirmed by the Senate, to make policy for our economy. These decisions will be made internationally.

And Europe will dominate them. The FSF and, presumably, the FSB, is now composed of the central bankers of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States plus representatives of the World Bank, the European Union, the IMF, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
-- Dick Morris, The Declaration of Independence has been Repealed on 4/6/2009

If this is where the left chooses to take our America, then they have revealed themselves as blatant socialists. Naturally, it was Lenin who instructed us that, "The goal of socialism is communism."

    Good move, American left.

If by "mending fences" you mean having France and China publicly lecture a U.S. President about how to handle economics and capitalism, then I praise Obama for his success 'cause I never dreamed there'd be a day that would happen.

.... being lectured on "how to handle economics and capitalism," but did he agree to any terms or suggestions that were suggested of him on how to run our country?

Did he not refute what was suggested by Sarkozy? On the issue of China, don't you think that at the very least he had to listen to them becuase since they are one of the few countries that will actually buy our debt? Debt that he has partially created, I understand, but also that has been created by past administrations.

Maybe he can see beyond the arrogance that we have been guilty of in the past and see that we should not bite the hand that feeds us.

Maybe he can see beyond the arrogance ...

Allow me address this issue of American arrogance. The American people have paid a high price for the services rendered to the world community. We Americans have interred our fathers and mothers, our sons and daughters across a large portion of this world; men and women who gave up their lives in order that others can be free from despotic rulers and societies.

Whenever I hear anyone claim that Americans hate Muslims, it forces me to conclude that they surely must be the most idiotic people on earth, right behind liberals in Washington. The evidence is overwhelming that the most harm ever done to Muslim communities originated with Muslim extremists.

Likewise, Øbama insults me personally by seeking to apologize to world leaders for our so-called arrogance. Americans have a heavily vested interest in freedom and democracy for others. How dare he apologize for that? How dare he insult the wives, children, and parents of Americans who lost a son or daughter in our attempt to free the oppressed? How dare he suggest that we are arrogant when we have spent billions of dollars toward rebuilding Europe and saving Africans from HIV infections and starvation? Who else in the world provided direct assistance to the victims of tsunamis in Indonesia, even as we too often ignore our own homeless and impoverished?

If Americans are arrogant, it is because we disdain other nations who pursue the more-traveled path of lethargy and appeasement; it is because we have paid a high price to set other people free.

Americans have known about trans-nationalism long before Øbama arrived on the scene, but it had nothing to do with kissing derrieres in the EU framework, which Americans like me categorically refuse to do.
