The New York Times' Public Enemy #1: Sarah Palin

While ABC, NBC, CBS and virtually every blog that pays homage to His Holiness, The Obama, has spent tireless hours chopping at the image of Sarah Palin, it is not surprising that The New York Times has delivered the sharpest hacks. The "Newspaper" that hasn't endorsed a Republican presidential candidate since Eisenhower has pulled out all the stops in whacking away at the woman from Alaska with its liberal hatchet of hate.

We've seen them attack the pregnancy of Palin's unwed daughter, running stories hinting at hypocrisy. All this from a paper that holds Hollywood as a moral compass.

Oh, but that isn't enough for The Times. They have also run articles questioning Palin's dedication as a mother, evidently because she has such a powerfully successful career. Of course, Michelle Obama's career as a lawyer, community organizer and hospital executive is the stuff of maternal legend.

The Times also reported that <gasp> Todd Palin (Sarah's husband) was arrested 22 years ago for drunk driving. Let's see, that would have been around the same time that Barack Obama was "experimenting" with cocaine. I guess it's six in one, half-dozen in the other.

According to The New York Times, Sarah Palin has her own share of questionable associations, including lobbyists who brought money to Alaska. She hasn't spent twenty years under a hate-mongering paster, befriended an unrepentant terrorist, and worked real estate deals with a convicted felon . . . but, come on, these people brought money to Alaska!

And do I even need to mention their "She doesn't have the experience" mantra? Of course, she is the #2 on the ticket and compares favorably to the #1 on the Democratic ticket when it comes to experience so what is the difference? The difference is that Sarah Palin doesn't have testicles.

Nice article. The attacks on Palin, including the NYT, are pathetic. They are worried.

It kind of makes one sick to one's stomach, actually. I also blog at newsvine.com and the Leftie articles there are almost overwhelming.

The NYT isn't the worst, though. DailyKos is where so much of the vomit starts. The NYT, however, should be held to higher standards.

Think we'll see any protesters shouting "F&#k the New York Times!" and assaulting their writers?

Nah. That sort of behavior is saved for Fox News....

    Great post.

Debbie, Thanks. And you do have the Right Truth. They are so worried you can see their sweat in the ink.

E.D., Ah, DailyKos. Their articles on "who is Trig's real mother" were among the cruelest political attacks I've ever seen. I mean, posting pics of a teennage girl with a tummy and insisting she had been pregnant with little Trig. They're animals. But unlike liberal protestors, we treat them like human beings whether they desrve it or not. Thanks for your insights!
