Geoffrey Fieger Found Not Guilty

I haven't been this stunned since The Crying Game. Prominent legal sleaze Geoffrey Feiger was found not guilty of campaign finance violations and obstruction of justice. According to one juror interviewed after the decision, "the government was not able to prove Fieger was aware of the law and deliberately broke it." Yes, how could one of the country's leading lawyers who at one time was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Michigan have any knowledge about campaign finance law? Is it me or is Michigan becoming the Randy Hickey of Midwestern states?
